I say wear the dress and shoes. Use the red ribbon to lace the dress, not pink. Do a light to medium smokey eye (not too dark though) and pale/neutral lip. And try to find a fancy shawl or dressy shrug. The dress is a little low in the back for a 15 year old but the front is ok and the style overall is event and theme appropriate. Do your hair sleek. Wear dangly earrings if you have them and no necklace.

Should I just go ahead and get the h*ll out of Colorado at this point?

Unfortunately, I have learned that women here in Colorado don't like me because I am from the southern United States (right outside of Cherokee, NC in my case). It is my nature to be a very socialable person, but these people here in Colorado don't like outsiders whatsoever. Seriously, now I have experienced just a SMALL taste of what it was like for the folks on the trail of tears who got moved to Oklahoma by that jerk Andrew Jackson. What I mean by that is I am now living in a physical place (Colorado) whose culture is 180 degrees different than what I am used to. I can't imagine having to be removed from the beautiful western NC mountains to Oklahoma. Anyway, my MAIN point in this is the fact that despite my friendly nature, I am convinced that my southern dialect turns women off from me here. In fact, I have been asked if I am from Texas innumerable times since I moved here in 2005 for a job after leaving the military. I have also learned that Coloradoans hate Texans with a pion since moving here. If it weren't so expensive, I would go ahead and move, but its gonna cost me $3K and I'm just a poor college student right now. Also, its not like I can just go out and get a $15/hr job as I have tried and have learned that military service doesn't mean anything with respect to finding a job that pays a living wage. I have been considering trying to get accepted to the University of Texas at Austin as I believe that I would fit in better down there since Texans are friendly and outgoing like they are back home. Don't you think that I would probably find a g/f if I were to move back home to the South?

New Rock in Fish Tank?

My Dad works at a Granite and Rock place....and he brought home some decorative rock for my niece's fish tank. Its a 10gal tank with 2 goldfish in it. We have a pump and a light. Temp is usually around 74-80Degrees. Is it dangerous to put this rock in.......Rock is "dolmite", :mica", "woodrock"(white) and "black granite"? Any help would be appreciated...Thanks in advance. I dont want her goldfish to die on her.

My opinion is not as educated when applied to Asian boxers, simply because I don't travel in those circles, so I have not seen that many Asian fighters. I have huge respect for Khaosai Galaxy, and consider him far superior to just about any fighter of his size, Asian or not. I also have always been a huge fan of Manny Pacquiao and David Tua, they are my three favorite modern Asian fighters. Truthfully I don't feel Garcia was as great as guys like Jofre or Villa and even Harada, but that's no knock on Garcia, those were truly elite fighters. He was still very good, even great by most standards, but nowhere near the greatest Asian boxer ever.
