you ovulate around 12-16 days BEFORE your next expected period. I would say have every other day from cycle day 10 until the day after you expect to ovulate. If you're not sure, you can always get ovulation predictor kits. There are other signs of ovulation (cervical mucus, cervical position, temperature etc.) that you can also look out for.
