Shakespearean or Petrarchan Sonnet?

I need help getting started on writing a sonnet in either one of these forms. The theme should be the meaninglessness of the universe despite human endeavors to impose meaning on it. Also I already know the structure and everything for both forms so that will not be necessary. What I need is something to get me started.
